Misura la performance operativa aziendale.
EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) is a key metric used by investors and analysts to evaluate a company's operating performance. By stripping away the effects of financing (interest), legal requirements (taxes), and non-cash accounting entries (depreciation/amortization), EBITDA provides a 'purer' view of a business's ability to generate cash from its core operations. It is widely used to compare companies in the same industry and is a fundamental component of business valuation models.
Come funziona
This calculator uses the operating approach. It starts with total Revenue, subtracts the direct cost of goods (COGS) to find Gross Profit, and then subtracts all other operating expenses (OPEX). The result is the operating profit, which serves as a proxy for EBITDA in this simplified model.
Formula di calcolo
EBITDA = Revenue - COGS - OPEX
Calculation Examples
1. **High Margin**: $1M Revenue, $200k COGS, $300k OPEX. EBITDA = **$500,000** (50% Margin).
2. **Retail**: $1M Revenue, $700k COGS, $200k OPEX. EBITDA = **$100,000** (10% Margin).
